Your team
You’ll work in a young, energetic, and multicultural team. Our colleagues come from Canada, Brazil and the Netherlands. We are a diverse team with a common drive: successfully connecting internationals with Dutch companies. You will be working closely with our marketing team including a B2B Marketeer, B2C Marketeer and PR Manager who will help you with making www.braveones.com the go-to resource for internationals in the Netherlands.
What will you be doing?
As our online marketer, your role is focused on driving online visibility, growing our company brand and engaging with students. You will be working closely with the content creation team to create strategies across all channels while ensuring our content is informative, engaging and optimized for SEO.
You will be responsible for our affiliate marketing program - managing applications, meetings, links, conversions and transactions. You are also expected to attend and actively participate in events, workshops and presentations to foster our relationship with students around the country, besides supporting them through our online FAQ and support inbox.
Producing valuable and informative blog articles to our student library is also part of your tasks and is where we want to see your copywriting skills shining. Together with this, you will help enhance our SEO efforts, analysing performance through tools like Google Analytics and Ubersuggest to increase reach.
While design and editing skills are a bonus, we value proactive, creative and a flexible approach to marketing. If you enjoy content creation, enhancing SEO and interacting with different cultures, this position is for you.
Your mission
You will ensure our audience have access to valuable resources while strengthen our company online presence, with real engagement and impactful content – creating success for both students and partners.
Your responsibilities
- Engaging copywriting: Create blog articles for our Student Library, making sure they are valuable, creative and aligned with our brand tone.
- Affiliate management: Manage affiliates applications, schedule meetings, track transactions and links to optimize conversion. Collaborate with the content creation team for online affiliate marketing strategies.
- Clear communication & creative mindset: Work closely with our marketing team to develop strategies in order to enhance brand awareness and engagement. Join meetings and brainstorming sessions to make sure everyone is on the same page.
- SEO Optimization: Create plans to raise exposure and search ranks, using tools such as Google Analytics and Ubersuggest to rack results and maximize conversions.
- Student support: Make sure our FAQs are always updated, informative and valuable for the students. You are also in charge of our support inbox.
- Community engagement: Attend and actively engage in events, workshops and presentations around the country (e.g. IntroWeeks, Info Markets, International Student activities and many more).

- A drive & execution power: You are working in a scale-up that is aiming for the stars. So having a work hard, play hard mentality is required. You do not need to know it all, but you do need to put in the effort and be willing to learn.
- Excellent communication skills: You speak and write fluently in English as this is our company language and have a positive attitude.
- Sharp-eyed: You have a keen eye for details to ensure our website has the best user experience. You understand that small details make a big difference, and you use this in your day-to-day work.

- Dedication: A strong work ethic to give 100% is essential for succeeding in a start-up environment.
What do you need to apply?
- Being able to start within max 2 months.
- You live in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region.
- You are available for 16 hours per week for at least 2 years.
- You are staying in the Netherlands during summer to join IntroWeeks in different cities.
- You have experience in a similar role.
- You have the necessary drive, passion, and affinity with entrepreneurship that it takes to work at a scale-up.
