Your team
You’ll work in a young, energetic, and multicultural team. Our colleagues come from Canada, Brazil, Indonesia, Malta, and the Netherlands. We are a diverse team with a common drive: successfully connecting internationals with Dutch companies. You will be working closely with our commercial team including an Accountmanager New Business, a Customer Success Manager, another Recruiter and our Marketeers who will help you with setting up recruitment campaigns.
What will you be doing?
As our recruiter, your role is focused on recruiting and matching internationals with our clients' job opportunities. You can think of companies such as HANOS, OPEN32 and TREK. Therefore, it is key that you have effective communication skills so the contact with the candidates (informal) and the companies (formal) go smoothly.
You have a people-first mindset and make sure that our internationals have the best experience during their work journey via Brave Ones. This starts with the recruitment and selection procedure in which you are searching for the perfect candidate and can clearly communicate why you reject or move forward with them.
Once a candidate has been accepted by the client, you are the one who shares the good news and takes charge of the (administrative) onboarding. Once the employee has started working, you remain the main contact person. In that way we ensure great support, and the collaboration becomes a success for internationals as well as the client.
Your mission
You are opening up the Dutch labor market for international students and graduates so that lots of internationals start working at Dutch companies. You enable growth – for the clients, the internationals, and us.
Your responsibilities
- Clear communication & active listening: Work closely with our customer success manager to understand and fulfill clients' staffing needs effectively. Communicate with clients during the recruitment and selection process and build a long-term relationship with them.
- Recruiting: Have online intakes, screen resumes, check availability and motivations,and conduct interviews with internationals to assess their suitability for our open positions.
- Onboarding: Ensuring the international is 100% ready for the first working day (e.g. work permit application, employment contract, mobility options, online onboarding session).
- Supporting: Address inquiries from working internationals, provide essential support and guidance and thereby contribute to an inclusive work environment.
- Operations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) and back office system.
- Offboarding: Make sure internationals are properly offboarded and leave as a Brave Ones ambassador.
- Optimizing: Come up, start, and finish innovation projects, such as improving our campus recruitment activities or implementing AI tools in the recruitment process.
What do you need to excel in the job?
- Proactivity: You are an enthusiastic person and when you do not know what to do, you actively look for solutions yourself instead of waiting for someone else to solve it for you.
- A drive & execution power: You are working in a scale-up that is aiming for the stars. So having a work hard, play hard mentality is required. You do not need to know it all, but you do need to put in the effort and be willing to learn.
- Excellent communication skills: You speak and write fluently in English as this is our company language and have a positive attitude.
- Strong administration skills: The devil is in the details during the onboarding paperwork, so it is key to be accurate.
- Being a people person: You demonstrate an ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Going the extra mile: You always give 110% to exceed the expectations of our internationals, clients and team members.
What do you need to apply?
- Being able to start within 2 months.
- In the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s program.
- You live in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region.
- You are available for 40 hours per week.
- Fluent command of the English language.
- Your field of study is related to recruitment or personnel management.
- You have the necessary drive, passion, and affinity with entrepreneurship that it takes to work at a scale-up.
- Drive for growth within the company.

- Gross salary of €500 per month
- Receive a laptop and phone during your employment.

- Possibility to work 1 day per week from home if the contract is renewed
