Thousands of international students come to the Netherlands to pursue their dreams. We use rocket as a metaphor for going into the unknown, comparable to how internationals leaving their comfort zone to start a new life in a foreign country. This is our definition of Brave.
At the same time, local companies also take the leap into hiring internationals in their organizations. It represents a big step towards new opportunities and opening up to different cultures. This is our definition of Brave.
It began with our founder, Karel Leusink. As an international student himself, his exchange semesters in Japan and Italy inspired him. He has the firsthand experiences of the real struggles in finding a job and integrating into a foreign culture. Since 2019, he has made it his mission to uplift internationals in his home country- and that's how Brave Ones was born.
