The company is based in Nijmegen and is a well-established logistics provider specializing in the distribution of pallets and packages across the Netherlands and Europe. With almost 85 years of experience, it operates a modern distribution center with 130 loading docks. The company is located in Nijmegen, close to the city center (approximately 10 minutes from the central station), making it easily accessible by bike. 

Job description

In this role, you will be helping to maintain the smooth flow of shipments across the Netherlands and Europe. You ensure that your colleagues can work safely and that all waste products are recycled properly. Any issues will be reported to the shift supervisor. Your role also involves sorting shipments into designated postcode areas and maintaining order within these zones. In addition, you will supervise the action in the warehouse and report your findings to the warehouse manager at the end of the day. It is possible to occasionally fill in for a shift during the week. In this role you will carefully load shipments into delivery vehicles based on loading instructions using an EPT. Therefore, you will be receiving an EPT course (1 half day) before your start, fully compensated by the company. 

Job requirements

  • Reliable, proactive, and responsible for fully closing down the warehouse and providing a detailed report of findings to the warehouse manager at the end of each day.
  • Team-player mindset great communication skills. 
  • You see yourself confidently driving an electric pallet truck. Certification and training is provided by the company.  
  • You are living in Nijmegen.
  • You are comfortable with physical work.
  • Available for at least 6 months and you can work at least 10 hours (more are optional). 
  • Set working days on Saturday from 15.00 till 01.00. 

Hours & salary

The evening shifts will start at 15.00 till 01.00 on Saturday (mandatory). You may possibly finish earlier or later (depending on how many packages there are), but availability for these hours is required. 

Your salary:  

The company applies a set salary of €14.40 per hour, regardless of age. In addition, you will receive a weekend allowance of 150%, meaning your hourly wage will come to €21.60 per hour.

You will go through 3 rounds of application process:

  • Round 3: Offline Interview with the Company + drive one round on EPT 

Hereafter, if you're a suitable match on the EPT, you'll get a EPT course (1 half day) asap and then start working!
