Celebrate pride month in the Netherlands!

June is pride month, the time for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies to celebrate love, inclusion, equality and diversity. Join several parades, walks, discussions and parties throughout the Netherlands – not only in June, but also in July and August.

Utrecht pride

Be yourself and celebrate each other at the Utrecht Pride on Saturday, the 3rd of June. Cheer on the boat parade passing through the Utrecht canal and Oudegracht. Starting point is the Bartholomeïbrug at 1.30 pm. Also join the colourful street festivals and vibrant night life.

 

Rotterdam pride

Rotterdam Pride is celebrating the 10 year anniversary with 10 full days of meet-ups, parties and pride talks (mostly in Dutch) from 1st until 11th of June. Make sure to check the website for tickets you need for certain events!

 

Pride Maastricht

Pride Maastricht is a protest on Saturday June 24th. It is honouring the roots of the Stonewall (USA) protest in 1969 and focuses on inclusivity, community, solidarity and no rainbow-capitalism. 

 

Pink pride wednesday Nijmegen

Pink Wednesday (Roze Woensdag) on the 19th of July is the day for visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community in Nijmegen. Come and join during the second day of the Nijmegen 4daagse. Don’t forget to wear pink!

 

Amsterdam pride

Be part of one of the world’s. out popular parades! Also this year Amsterdam Pride is traditionally taking place in August. This year’s theme is #YouAreIncluded with great events from 1st to 6th of August. The main canal parade is on the 5th of August, which you can join with your own boat by getting a vignette on Juli 1st.
