5. Canal Cruise all the way
No trip to the Netherlands is complete without a canal cruise, but why settle for a typical sightseeing tour when you can spice things up with a boat party? Picture this: you and your friends, dancing the day away to tunes spun by a DJ, surrounded by the picturesque beauty of Amsterdam’s canals. Just remember, what happens on the boat, stays on the boat (unless it ends up on Instagram). You might also be able to find some cruises that offer food, such as Leckers op de Maas or Pancake Boat Nijmegen.
6. Beach Please! Spring Edition
Who says the Netherlands is all about bikes and canals? Head to the coast for some beachside fun in towns like Scheveningen or Zandvoort. Whether you’re soaking up the sun, braving a dip in the North Sea, or just indulging in some fresh seafood, a day at the beach is the perfect way to unwind and work on your sun tan.
Whilst you can also visit these places in Summer, during the spring you’ll find these beaches less busy, making a more relaxing visit.
